918 cases resolved in Mega Lok Adalat in Ghaziabad

A total of 918 cases were resolved on Sunday at Mega Lok-Adalat organised in the district courts precincts and a pecuniary fine of Rs 29,530 was recovered.

Ghaziabad: A total of 918 cases were resolved on Sunday at Mega Lok-Adalat organised in the district courts precincts and a pecuniary fine of Rs 29,530 was recovered.

The adalat was organised under the aegis of District Judge Anil Srivastava.

Succession certificates to the tune of Rs 37,39,937 were released in favour of parties.

While 12 cases were disposed under Succession Act, 10 cases of matrimonial disputes were disposed off on the basis of mutual consent between the parties.

In Mega Lok Adalat held at Hapur and Garh Mukteshwar, 150 disputes were resolved and a pecuniary fine of Rs 12,900 was recovered from the litigants.

According to Secretary of District Legal Cell Vijay Kumar Dungarkoti several disputes under Shops and Establishment Act, Motor Vehicles Act, Entertainment Act, Weights and Measures Act were resolved.
