Abducted minor girl dies in UP

A 16-year-old girl, who was allegedly abducted and lost her legs after falling from the train in Bhamaura area, died at a hospital on Monday, police said.

Bareilly: A 16-year-old girl, who was allegedly abducted and lost her legs after falling from the train in Bhamaura area, died at a hospital on Monday, police said.

Morkali, who went missing on Friday, lost her legs when she fell from the train at Ramganga station on Saturday, they said.

On the complaint, filed by Morkali's brother Chandrapal, a case had been lodged against her lover Satyaveer and he was arrested yesterday.

Meanwhile, Satyaveer claimed that the girl went with him willingly, but her mind changed at the last moment and she jumped from the train.
