Fatehpur: Two persons were killed and a top
police official injured when their car crashed into a
stationary truck on the G T Road on Monday.
Additional Commissioner, Kanpur, Rajendra Kumar was
returning from a wedding in Mirzapur on Monday morning when his
Indica car crashed into the truck near Usraina village in
Thariyaon area, police said.
The driver Deepak and the son of Kumar's friend, Ankur
Seth, who were on the front seat were killed in the mishap,
they said, adding that the commissioner and his security guard
have been admitted to the district hospital here.
