Maharajganj (UP): An African national was arrested while trying to cross over to Nepal on the basis of fake visa papers, police said on Monday.
36-year-old Mikki Dain of Sierra Leone in West Africa, who was on his way to Nepal from Mumbai via Delhi, was arrested by the immigration department in Sonauli yesterday, Sonauli check post in-charge Ram Pal Yadav said.
A case has been registered and Intelligence Bureau has been informed of the matter, he added.
