"AI-695 from Lucknow to Mumbai landed under emergency conditions at the airport due to a suspected bird hit this afternoon," airport Director Atul Dixit said.
The incident occurred when the plane had flown up to 10 nautical miles and was far from Lucknow.
"All the passengers are safe and the exact damage caused to the plane would be known after an inquiry," Dixit said.
Lucknow: A Mumbai-bound Air India plane landed under emergency conditions at the Chaudhary Charan Singh airport here on Saturday after a suspected case of bird hit, a senior official said.
