Ajanta files complaint against UP stockist for blackmailing
Morbi based Ajanta India has lodged complaint against its Uttar Pradesh stockist Charanjeetsingh Pritamsingh at the local police station here alleging that he is trying to blackmail company`s directors.
Rajkot: Morbi based Ajanta India, a leading
manufacturer of consumer goods, has lodged complaint against
its Uttar Pradesh stockist Charanjeetsingh Pritamsingh at the
local police station here alleging that he is trying to
blackmail company`s directors.
Charanjeetsingh, the stockist for Ajant`s electronic
division at Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh had lodged complaint
against company`s two directors, Ashok Patel and Bhavna Patel,
alleging that they had cheated him by not replacing defective
CFL lams stock worth Rs 13.50 lakh.
Following the complaint lodged with the police station
there, the court in Bareilly on June 9 issued a non-bailable
warrant against the two directors and a police team led by PSI
Subhash Yadav have come to Rajkot to arrest the two.
The UP police team carried out search at company`s
premises here but could not locate the two directors.
Ajanta India which has lodged a complaint against the UP
stockist at the Morbi police station for blackmailing the
company directors has said that the company had stopped
dealing with him as he had breached company`s policy.
"Charanjeetsingh has violated company`s policy and
guidelines by making fake bills and company has already
stopped dealing with him", the company said, adding that
Charanjeetsingh, who has come here alognwith UP police team
had threatened company`s employees in Morbi.
The complaint said the stockist was trying to blackmail
company`s directors by making false claims.
