Lucknow: As intense heat swept the city, the Lucknow administration on Saturday ordered closure of all schools and colleges up to class 12 from May 15.
An order to this effect was issued by District Magistrate Anurag Yadav, an official spokesman said here.
The DM had directed District Inspector of schools to ensure strict compliance of the order, he said.
