Ayodhya issue: Another round of talks for negotiated solution

As part of efforts to arrive at an out-of-court settlement of the vexed Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute, Gyandas, Mahant of Hanumaghari, today held another round of talks with Hashim Ansari.

Ayodhya: As part of efforts to arrive at
an out-of-court settlement of the vexed Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri
Masjid dispute, Gyandas, Mahant of Hanumaghari, today held
another round of talks with Hashim Ansari, a plaintiff in the
Ayodhya title suit.

For the first time after the Allahabad High Court
pronounced its verdict on Ayodhya title suits, Mahant Gyandas
visited Hashim Ansari`s Sanjhi Tola residence.

He had a closed-door meeting with the 90-year-old
litigant for nearly 15 minutes.

After the meeting, Mahant Gyandas said talks were
heading in a positive direction.
He said an agreement was being prepared but refused to
divulge anything at this juncture.
