Jaunpur (UP): A local BJP leader was shot
at and injured by some unidentified persons near Kuttupur
bypass in Sarai Khwaja area here today, police said.
Raj Kumar Sonkar, aged 42, received gunshot wounds in
his hand, they said adding he was admitted to hospital.
A hunt had been launched to apprehend the attackers,
police said.
