Muzaffarnagar: The BSP has said the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other BSP leaders at the pre-wedding ceremony of SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav's grandnephew and RJD chief Lalu Yadav's daughter that both parties are in collusion and trying to "befool the common man".

Talking to media-persons here yesterday, BSP National General Secretary Nasimuddinn Siddiqui said that BJP's and SP's internal policy is the same and both are trying to befool the people of the state.

He further charged, "The common man is living in a fearful atmosphere while the SP government was claiming to provide a fearless society for the people in state.

Referring to the shooting of gangster Vicky Tygai in the jail premises, Siddiqui said that the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh is "very bad".

He also mentioned that the BSP is increasing its political strength and it would contest alone in UP Assembly polls in 2017.

Criticising the BJP-led central government, he said the BJP "is doing favours to industrialists and is not sensitive towards the common man".
