Kanpur: Alleging that corruption and crime have become rampant under Mayawati's rule, senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh Monday said if his party comes to power after the 2012 UP Assembly polls, it would constitute a Commission of Inquiry to look into various scams happened in BSP regime.

"The BSP government has completely failed. Three senior health officers have been killed and no CBI probe was ordered. Body of girl was found hanging in a police station and the government was silent. No work is done without paying bribe," he told reporters on the sidelines of a party function here.

"If the BJP comes to power next year, we will constitute a Commission of Inquiry to look into cases of corruption so that people know how corrupt was the BSP government," Singh, who is BJP in-charge of UP and Uttarakhand, said.

He people are fed up of Samajwadi Party and BSP regime and now seeing the BJP as an option.

On Congress' prospects in Uttar Pradesh, he said, the party is still weak in the state and they have no chance to be in corridors of power.
