Lucknow: The BJP on Saturday decided to launch a
state-wide agitation against `anti-people` policies of the
Centre and BSP government in Uttar Pradesh, a party spokesman
said here.

In the first phase of the agitation the party has decided
to take out `Nyaya March` on August 13 to protest against
CBI`s alleged conspiracy against Gujarat government and misuse
of the agency by the Congress, he said.
The decision to this effect was taken during a meeting of
the newly-elected office-bearers of the state unit, which was
chaired by state president Surya Pratap Shahi and attended
by national general secretary Narendra Singh Tomar.

During the meeting, strategy for public awareness
campaign against the Centre and the state government was
discussed.

"It was decided to expose the Centre and the state
government on the issues of price rise, rotting foodgrain, law
and order, fertiliser, water and power crisis," the spokesman
said.
It was decided that `save Jammu and Kashmir` day will be
observed on August 21 in which memorandum addressed to the
President will be submitted through district magistrates, he
said.
