Balrampur: Making a scathing attack
on BSP government in Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party today
alleged it has changed the definition of the democracy by
indulging in large-scale corruption.

"Definition of the democracy has changed under this
regime into a government for money, run by money and made by
money," SP state president Akhilesh Yadav told reporters here.

He said while statues were installed after the death
of a person, Mayawati got her seven statues erected within her
lifetime.

He alleged that 2000 acre land and Rs 20,000 crore was
wasted in the names of stones and statues.

"If this money would have been utilised on poor and
development, it would have changed the face of the state," he
said.

Targetting Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi,
Akhilesh Yadav alleged while the young leader was talking
about Mission 2012 his party was responsible for price rise
and corruption.
