BSP has lost control over UP: BJP

BJP national vice-president Kalraj Mishra claimed that Mayawati govt had lost control over the state.

Barabanki: Attacking the BSP government for
the "deteriorating" law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh,
BJP national vice-president Kalraj Mishra today claimed that
the Mayawati government had lost control over the state.

"The law and order situation in a state where a
two-year-old girl is raped and a woman is forced to parade
naked can be easily gauged," Mishra said at a Vijay Sankalp
Sammelan at Ramnagar here.
"The government has lost control over the state. Crime
rate has skyrocketed and corruption is rampant," he claimed.

Mishra said Chief Minister Mayawati might claim the
achievements of her government by launching new projects, "but
in reality, the situation is bad as funds meant for
development are often looted."
"Development schemes have been marred by corruption as a
number of ministers themselves are involved in malpractices,"
he alleged.
