Ballia (UP): A local BSP worker was shot dead by unidentified assailants here, police said Tuesday.
BSP worker Suresh Chaurasia (40) had gone to have tea at a local stall in Kotwari village when he was shot dead last night.
Local BSP MLA Uma Shankar Singh said Chaurasia`s murder was yet another example of the "dismal" law and order situation in the state.
