Businessman shot dead in UP

Ghazipur: A businessman was shot dead by motorcycle-borne assailants in Kasimabad area of the district, after which some locals chased the accused and beat one of them to death, police said on Monday. Akhilesh Jaiswal (35), a local businessman, was shot dead last night when he was in the market with his brother, police said.

Locals chased the assailants and nabbed Firoz Ahmad and beat him to death, they said. Search is on for the other accused, they said. PTI
