Lucknow: The BJP on Tuesday dared Uttar Pradesh
Chief Minister Mayawati to either lodge a case against it for
"exposing 1,000 scams" of her government or clear the air by
replying to it point-wise.
"It is not right to issue threats. It will be better if
she gives point-wise clarifications on 1,000 scams that we
have exposed about her government or else lodge a case against
us," BJP spokesman Hriday Narain Dixit told reporters here.
"The BJP has openly branded this government corrupt. The
CAG report has made observations on corruption in construction
of memorials and these very things have found mention in the
WikiLeaks expose also," he said.
"It is because of Mayawati`s frustration that she has
started threatening media and others," Dixit said.
