Mahrajganj (UP): Five persons, including three women, have died due to severe cold conditions in the district since last evening, police said on Sunday.
While Mahabir (65), a Dalit, died in Manglapur village here, Budhiya (62) and Rakhiya (63) succumbed to intense cold in Sikarpur and Sohgiberwa villages respectively, yesterday.
Sumari Nut (50) of village Sardiha and 25-year-old Munna Chaudhery of Auratar village died today, they said.
