Fatehpur: Two separate cases were
registered on Saturday against a Congress candidate here for
violating model code of conduct, police said.
Congress candidate Haji Rafi Ahmad was using more than
permitted number of vehicles for his election campaign, police
said.
Election Commission's flying squad caught the candidate's
supporters in Sarkandi and Kunwarpur areas for using vehicles
more than permitted.
Two separate cases were registered in this regard, they
said.
