Despite implementation of several five year plans, crores of people in the country are deprived of two square meals, Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav said.

five year plans, crores of people in the country are deprived
of two square meals, Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav on Monday said.
"Several five year plans have been implemented but
crores of people are still deprived of two square meals...
youth are faced with problem of unemployment ... the
boundaries of the country are not safe with China continuously
mounting pressure but the central government neither has a
plan nor a resolve to deal with them," Yadav said.
Addressing party workers at the Independence day
functions at the party headquarters here, Yadav said that law
and order situation was dismal in Uttar Pradesh with
atrocities continuing against women.
"The party has been struggling against it since long
and would continue to do so in future also," he said.
The SP president said that people of the country were
faced with problem of inflation and corruption despite 64
years of independence.
Recalling the contribution of freedom fighters specially
those belonging to the Muslim community, he said that they
have also been contributing towards the safety and security of
the country and it would not be right to point fingers at
them. They should get all their rights in independent India,
