Dalit found murdered in Muzaffarnagar

Muzaffarnagar: A Dalit, who went missing
on June 14, was found murdered at Panchenda village of the
district, police said here Tuesday.

Gopi Singh had gone to his field on June 14 but did
not return following which a case was filed. His bullet-
riddled body was found from a canal yesterday, they said.

Meanwhile, a man was beaten to death by angry locals
when he tried to escape after murdering a trader at Janheri
village of the district.

Trader Chandrahas was shot dead by three armed men
last evening. Locals caught hold of one of them and beat him
to death.
