Barabanki (UP): A woman was killed allegedly
by her daughter and son-in-law for property in Kursi area
here, police said on Wednesday.
Ramkali, in her mid 50's, was hacked to death by her
daughter Anita and her husband Pappu, both in their early
30's,for 14 bigha land in Kamipur village yesterday, they
said.
According to police, Anita had pressurized her mother to
transfer the land in her name. However, Ramkali refused to do
so following which the couple killed her.
While Anita was arrested, Pappu was absconding, they
said.
