Badaun: AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh
today alleged that officers and employees in Uttar Pradesh
were working under tremendous pressure of the state government
and demanded a probe into the suicide of a senior IAS officer
recently.
"The officers and employees are working in the state
under tremendous pressure of the state government. The state
government should institute an independent inquiry into the
death of senior IAS officer (Harminder Raj) Singh," he said
while talking to reporters here.
Singh alleged that the regional parties, which ruled the
state in past 20 years only worked for their welfare instead
of working for the common man.
"The leaders of these parties (regional one) minted money
and did not pay any heed to problems of common man due to
which the state remained backward, he said.
