Lucknow: A team of Election Commission of
India would be on a two-day visit from Friday here to review
the preparations for Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls.
"The election commission would meet representatives of
national and regional parties after which a meeting of
administration and police officers of districts, to be covered
in first four phases, would be held," chief electoral officer
Umesh Sinha told reporters here.
Sinha said that on the next day review of districts to be
covered in last three phases would be held, followed by a
meeting with senior officials regarding enforcement related
