Elderly man beaten to death in Jaunpur

Jaunpur: An elderly man was today beaten
to death and three others were injured in a clash between two
groups over a land dispute in Shahganj area, a senior police
officer said.

Zainuddin (60), his wife Tamizul Nisha (55), Mohd
Rehan (25) and Misuddin (52) were seriously injured when two
parties having land dispute clashed with each other in
Machdiha village this morning, Deputy Superintendent of Police
Neeraj Pandey said.

He said that the injured were rushed to the district
hospital where Zainuddin died during treatment.
