Ensure peace during Eid: Maya to officials

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister
Mayawati today directed concerned officials to take all
necessary steps to ensure adequate power supply during the
holy month of Ramzan.

She also directed the officials to ensure peace and
order during the coming Eid festival, an official spokesman
said.

Any attempt by mischievous elements to disturb
communal harmony should be nipped in the bud, Mayawati said.

The Chief Minister passed these orders at a high-level
meeting here, the spokesman said.
