Lucknow: Final hearing will take place in the Allahabad High Court, Wednesday, on the disposal of a PIL seeking a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe against former Noida Authority engineer-in-chief Yadav Singh in connection with his alleged illegal assets.
A division bench here of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice Shree Narain Shukla had on Tuesday passed the order on the PIL filed by a social activist Nutan Thakur.
The arguments by the parties' counsels will continue today also.
The state government and Yadav have already filed their response as per notice of the court issued earlier.
The petitioner had alleged that she had filed a supplementary affidavit giving facts, including details of various alleged false companies floated by Yadav Singh for siphoning off illegal money.
The state government counsel have denied the allegations and said that the PIL was not maintainable.
