Barabanki: Five people were killed and 12 injured in a collision between their jeep and a truck here
on Monday, police said.
The accident took place near Gorpur village on Sultanpur
road, they said adding the ill-fated jeep was carrying 17
passengers.
The injured were admitted to a hospital, police said.
The victims hailed from Sultanpur district and were on
their way home when the accident occurred, they said.
