Five members of a family shot dead in Haathras

Haathras: Five members of a family
were allegedly shot dead by some unidentified persons in
Sadabad tehsil of the district, police said on Wednesday.

The victims identified as Ramesh (50), his wife
Vineeta (48), son Gopal (18), daughter Meenu (16) and nephew
Monu (22) were shot dead by some unidentified persons at their
Agra road residence late last night, they said.

The bodies also bore injury marks suggesting that the
victims were also stabbed, they said, adding that the motive
behind the murder was not yet clear.
