Lakhimpur: Dudhwa National Park authorities
today nabbed yet another poacher, who was allegedly involved
in the killing of a tiger, from Sidhauli area of Sitapur
district.

"We have arrested a poacher named Tika Ram, who was
actively involved in the killing of a young tiger in north
Kheri division area on Nov 17, 2008." Deputy Director, Dudhwa
Tiger Reserve (DTR) Sanjay Pathak told PTI.

The poacher was sent to jail under the provisions of
Wildlife Protection Act.

All the four paws of the tiger had been found missing and
its carcass had been recovered from Sutiya nullah, he said.

On August 14, the DTR authorities had nabbed a poacher
from near Nakauva nullah near the Park while he was on his way
to Nepal to allegedly dispose off a paw of a tiger.

During interrogation, Dinesh confessed his involvement in
