Former BJP leader criticizes Kushwaha’s induction

Former BJP leader Prem Kataruka on Thursday lashed out at the saffron party for inducting `corrupt` individuals in the party.

Ranchi: Former BJP leader Prem Kataruka on Thursday
lashed out at the saffron party for allegedly forgetting the
ideals of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deendayal
Upadhyaya by recruiting "corrupt" individuals in the party.

"BJP leaders never miss an occasion remembering Shyama
Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhaya and preaching
their ideals.

"But now the party did not mind to induct Babu Singh
Kushwaha who had been dropped by the Mayawati government in
Uttar Pradesh on corruption charges," Prem Kataruka, who was a
former Jharkhand?s BJP unit spokesman and secretary before
quitting the party, said here.

Kataruka, who had quit the party following some rift
with the party before the 2009 assembly elections, claimed
"the people think BJP is a perfect alternative to the
Congress, but recruiting such tainted leaders would erode its
faith in the people."
