Four girls raped in last five days in UP

Four minor girls, including a dalit girl were allegedly raped in several districts of the state in the past few days, police said here on Tuesday.

dalit girl were allegedly raped in several districts of the
state in the past few days, police said here on Tuesday.

In Gonda, a dalit minor girl was allegedly raped by a
person in Kumhara village after which she got pregnant, police
said today.

An FIR was yesterday registered against Sahdev (26) on
a complaint of Jagprasad, father of the victim, at Coloneganj
police station.
In the complaint, Jagprasad said that he came to know
about the rape, when he went for a medical check up of his
daughter and doctors confirmed her pregnancy, Superintendent
of Police D C Mishra said.

In Firozabad, a 13 year old girl was raped in Nagla
Khandra village in Sirsaganj area yesterday, police said
today.

Arvind (18) allegedly raped a 13-year-old girl in his
house when she went there for some work.

The accused was later caught by the villagers and
handed over to the police.

In Mau, a teenage girl today lodged an FIR against her
lover accusing him of rape and assault in Haldharpur area,
police said.

The FIR said that Krishnapal, with whom the girl was
having an affair, raped and assaulted her. The accused was
later arrested by the police.

In another incident in the same district, a minor girl
was allegedly raped by a man in Bhatauliud Matiya village,
police said.
The incident took place on July 7 when the
eight-year-old girl was raped by Ramsamujha Yadav after which
she felt unconscious, they said.

The victim, whose father worked in Maharashtra and
mother had expired earlier, was rushed to the hospital in a
serious condition, police said.

After she gained consciousness on July 9, she narrated
the whole incident to her grandmother, they said.

An FIR has been registered against the accused, who is
at large, police said, adding that the further probe is on
into the incident.
