Noida: Four persons were killed and 16 injured on Monday when a speeding cement laden truck collided with a company bus ferrying employees.
The bus was taking the staff of Motherson company?from Modi Nagar to Noida Phase 2 factory when a truck collided with it at Sector 78 Sarafabad crossing.
The bus passengers were injured and trapped as truck?had fallen on the vehicle after the collision.
The passengers were extricated from the mangled bus by police and and taken to hospital.
Four persons, identified as Prem Rani, Mathuri, Ranjita and Monika Tyagai, died on the spot.
Sixteen other workers including Geeta, Subhash, Manoj, Poonam, Ravina,Sandip and Ajay were injured. The condition of two of the injured was stated to be critical .
