Roorkee: Police have busted an illegal arms manufacturing factory and seized more than half a dozen country made pistols, cartridges and gun manufacturing equipments at Khero Shikohpur village near here.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team busted the factory and recovered the weapons and ammunition while one person was arrested in this connection, Circle Officer Kamlesh Upadhyay said.
The man arrested hails from Rasoolpur Kala in Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh, Upadhyay said.
Further probes are on into the case, he added.
