Judicial custody for Badkali murder accused

A woman gram pradhan has been sent to 14 days` judicial custody after she surrendered before a local court in connection with Badkali murder case.

Muzaffarnagar: A woman gram pradhan has
been sent to 14 days` judicial custody after she surrendered before a local court in connection with Badkali murder case in which eight family members, including Cane Society ex-chairman Udeyvir Singh, were killed.
Mamata, Badhai Khurd gram pradhan, who is one of the six
accused in the case and was carrying a reward of Rs 5,000 on
her head, surrendered yesterday.

The incident had occurred when a truck hit the victims`
jeep at Delhi-Saharanpur highway, near Badkali village here on
11th July.

A murder conspiracy was alleged behind the incident and a
case was registered against 15 people.
