Muzaffarnagar: The district authorities
have shifted the in charge of a government juvenile protective
home here after complaints of assault by the inmates.
Ompal Singh has been shifted after complaints by the
inmates that they were assaulted and not provided essential
facilities, including food, District Magistrate Pankaj Kumar
said on Sunday.
The assistant superintendent of the protective home
was injured allegedly by the inmates for not providing medical
treatment to them, he said, adding the charge has been given
to district probation officer Harkant Sharma and an inquiry
has been ordered.
