A magisterial inquiry has been ordered into gangster Vicky Tyagi murder case here, a senior official said on Saturday.

Muzaffarnagar: A magisterial inquiry has been ordered into gangster Vicky Tyagi murder case here, a senior official said on Saturday.

City Magistrate Brijbhushan Pandey said that he would conduct an inquiry into the incident starting March 11.

An armed juvenile who had entered a courtroom here masquerading as a lawyer, mortally shot Vicky Tyagi, an alleged gangster multiple times on February 16.

The juvenile was arrested from the spot the same day and has been sent to jail. Brijbir Singh, another accused in the case was nabbed on February 17 and remanded to judicial custody till March 2.

A case has been been registered against several other people including SP Anuj Choudhry, SHO Titawi Sachin Malik and constable Vikas in the incident.

The deceased was one of the accused in the 2011 Barkali case, in which eight people of a family were killed.
