Ghaziabad: In an apparent case of dishonour killing, a man was arrested here for allegedly murdering his sister`s lover in Pawla village of the district, police said on Saturday.
Raju, the girl`s brother, was arrested yesterday and he
has confessed to the crime, police said.
On November 2, Raju killed 20-year-old Sonu, a native of
Sirhora village of the district, police said.
Sonu was in a relationship with sister of Raju and had
eloped with her in 2006, Superintendent of Police (City) JK
Shahi said.
Raju threw Sonu`s body into Hindon river after the
murder, the SP said.
Efforts were on to fish out the body, he said.
