A man allegedly strangulated his wife to death in Jansath town after she failed to bear a child in their 12-year-long wedded life, police said on Tuesday.

Muzaffarnagar: A man allegedly strangulated his wife to death in Jansath town after she failed to bear a child in their 12-year-long wedded life, police said on Tuesday.
Police recovered the body of the deceased Saera Begum (31) last night, when her accused husband Shamser Ali was trying to bury her at a graveyard, Superintendent of Police Jagat Ram Joshi said.
A case has been registered against Shamser Ali in this connection, they said.
