Gorakhpur/Deoria: BJP leader Kalraj
Misra on Thursday said how can Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati
can provide security to people when she herself was so much
concerned about her own security.
"Mayawati is the only chief minister who neither meets
people nor leaders and ministers...and the logic given for it
is her security concerns...how can the chief minister, who is
not able to take care of her security, provide security to the
people of the state," he said in an election meeting here.
Referring to the good turnout of voters in the first
phase of polling yesterday, he said it was an indication that
people have decided to "uproot the corrupt BSP government".
"It is clear that people are in no mood to tolerate the
BSP government," he said.
Misra alleged the ruling BSP in UP has encouraged
corruption at every level.
On Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi stating that
his party will change the picture of UP in five years if voted
to power, he said Congress ruled the country for 45 years and
made UP a "bimaru (sick) state".
