of party MLAs and MLCs and issued necessary directives.
"The CM held a meeting with the ministers, party MLAs
and MLCs and had a detailed discussion about the monsoon
session of the state assembly on August 6 and issued necessary
directives," a party spokesman said here.
The upcoming Monsoon Session is all set to start on a
stormy note as the opposition parties are planning to corner
the government on the law and order and price rise issues.
Mayawati said at the meeting that directives issued
during earlier sessions should be followed this time as well.
She said that ministers should execute Parliamentary
works with full preparation.
She said that the party was committed to ensure smooth
and peaceful conduct of the House so that its time could be
utilised for discussion of contemporary and important issues.
The BSP supremo directed the party members to present
information regarding welfare schemes implemented by the state
government during various discussions and debates.
She also asked the MLAs to visit their respective
areas during vacations and solve problems being faced by the
