Mayawati issues directives to party members for block polls

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and BSP president Mayawati on Thursday asked party coordinators to connect with workers at the grassroots level for the forthcoming block elections besides making certain changes in the party setup.

forthcoming block elections besides making certain changes in
the party setup.
Addressing BSP coordinators, Mayawati asked them to
get in touch with workers at the grassroots level while
preparing for the block pramukh elections in order to ensure
success for nominees backed by the party.

The BSP president also made certain changes in the
party network, shifting coordinator of Lucknow division
Indrajeet Saroj to Allahabad and bringing Jai Prakash Rawat
(an MP) to Lucknow in his place among others, sources said.
The party president also issued guidelines for her
birthday functions in January next, stressing that no
contributions would be taken from party workers and
supporters.
