Mayawati used to sell party tickets: Expelled BSP leader

Former Uttar Pradesh Minister Daddu Prasad, who was expelled from BSP, has alleged that party supremo Mayawati used to "sell party tickets".

Lucknow: Former Uttar Pradesh Minister Daddu Prasad, who was expelled from BSP, has alleged that party supremo Mayawati used to "sell party tickets".

"Mayawati and her brokers used to sell party tickets...," Prasad alleged while talking to reporters here.

"In BSP, no one can raise his voice as they are terrorised by Mayawati. BSP did not introspect on its defeat in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls and a false report presented by Mayawati was accepted by all," he said.

Asked about his future course of action, Prasad said he would neither form a new party nor join any other party.

On the report given by Chitrakoot division unit and after inquiry, state BSP president Ram Achal Rajbhar had yesterday expelled Prasad from the party for "anti-party activities".

Daddu Prasad was Rural Development Minister in the Mayawati government.
