Ghaziabad: All government offices here remained opened today, despite being a Sunday, in the wake of the visit of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati to the district.
District Magistrate Hredesh Kumar said all government offices in the district were functioning today due to chief minister`s scheduled visit to Ghaziabad and Meerut districts to review the implementation of development works in the regions.
The offices remained open today, even though it was a Sunday, so that any information required by the chief minister could be made available to her and she could inspect the works being carried out in the district, he said.
