Lucknow: In a new twist to the Meerut rape and forceful conversion case, the woman denied the charges she had earlier made, as per news reports on Monday.

The young woman, who had earlier alleged forceful conversion, has reportedly said that she eloped with the Muslim man out of her will and was not raped.

The 20-year-old approached the police station stating that she was being pressurised by her family, the news reports stated.

The woman's father had alleged in August that she was raped after being abducted on July 23 and taken to a madrassa in Kharkhauda.

He further said that she was also forcefully made to sign documents of conversion also.
