Metro connecting Ghaziabad delayed by a week

Inauguration of the Vaishali Metro Station, connecting Ghaziabad to Delhi, is delayed by a week and will now begin operation on July 16.

"Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati will flag off
the Metro on July 16," Ghaziaabd Development Authority (GDA)
Vice Chairman Narender Chaudhary said.

Earlier the inauguration was scheduled on July 9.
The Metro Safety Commissioner will provide the safety
certificate after his visit on July 12.

Vaishali metro railway station is an extension of the
Dwarka-Anand Vihar metro link.

Chaudhary also said that feeder buses have also been
arranged for public to reach the Vaishali station.
