Kanpur: A minor explosion was heard at the Kanpur Central railway station on Tuesday afternoon.
As per initial reports, a small explosive device went off on platform number 8-9 sending the security apparatus into a tizzy. Luckily, there was no loss of life or property due to the incident.
Government Railway Police officials and members of the ATS are probing the matter. Unconfirmed reports claimed that one person has been detained in connection with the case.
