Minor dalit girl gangraped in UP

A minor dalit girl was allegedly gangraped by four youths in Chirayyakot police area in Mau district, police officials said here today.

Lucknow: A minor dalit girl was allegedly
gangraped by four youths in Chirayyakot police area in Mau district, police officials said here Thursday.

All the four accused have been arrested.
According to the police, the incident occurred late last
evening when the girl, a high school student, along with her
friend had gone to pluck vegetables from the field in Manajeet
village.
The accused, who were already waiting there, forcibly
dragged the girl and raped her, police said, adding that they
later fled from the spot when the victim`s friend reached the
village and raised an alarm.

All the four youths -- Sanjay Yadav, Rakesh Yadav, Vicky
Yadav and Sunil Yadav, have been arrested in this connection,
they said.
