Meerut: A minor girl here was allegedly abducted and gangraped by two youths for two days before being dumped in a jungle, police said on Sunday.
The incident took place in a village under Kankarkheda police station where the 15-year-old girl, who was on her way to the fields with her mother, was allegedly abducted by Suhel and his friend on September 21, police spokesperson said.
The two accused, who are residents of the same village, then took her to an unidentified place and raped her for two days.
When the victim's condition deteriorated, the duo threatened her against revealing the incident to anyone and then dumped her in a jungle on September 23, police said.
The victim and her family lodged a complaint with the police yesterday, police said, adding, raids were conducted at the residences of the accused, who are still at large.
There is tension in the area after the incident, police said.
