MLA robbed of nearly Rs 5 lakh in Mathura

Mathura: Two motorcycle-borne youths
allegedly robbed a local MLA of nearly Rs five lakh when his
driver was returning after collecting the amount from a bank
near here, police said.

The youths broke open the car`s windows and looted Rs 4.75
lakh when the driver of RLD MLA Tej Pal Singh was returning
after withdrawing the amount from Axis Bank in Dempier Nagar
area yesterday, SP City Ram Kishor said.

There has been no major breakthrough in the incident,
Kishor said, adding two teams have been formed to nab the
